Tivetshall Action Group comprises a small management committee acting on your behalf to set strategy and co-ordinate operations to achieve refusal of this development plan by Enertrag, so it is really you, TAG Supporters, who we all depend upon to drive this campaign forward. We cannot do it alone and we are encouraged that so many residents in and around the Tivetshalls have signed up to join the campaign and so far some 440 local residents have done just that.
We need people in suitable locations to have signs and posters displayed on their property to demonstrate our opposition to Enertrag's plans and also people to assist appointed co-ordinators in making newsletter deliveries house to house and above all we need you all to write to SNDC now the planning application has been submitted expressing your objections to the development.
We also need funds to cover printing costs of newsletters and posters, to pay for flying a blimp / balloon in April to demonstrate to all just how high these 140m monsters will be and how over-powering they will be to adjacent walkers and riders using the amenities of the area. Should SNDC refuse permission this time around it is likely that Enertrag will make an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate and then we shall be obliged to employ expert witnesses and possibly legal opinion and representation to put our case to the Inspector. All this costs money.
Thank you to all who have already donated towards the action fund - any amount is appreciated.
